Social Worker
What is a Registered Social Worker?
Social Workers are professionals who work with the other healthcare team members to provide client centered care.
The main goal of social work is to help individuals and families with the social, emotional and financial factors that impact their overall health and well-being.
In Ontario, social work practice is regulated by law. Only people registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) have the legal right to use the title “Social Worker.” Registration is indicated by the letters “RSW” (Registered Social Worker) after a person’s name.
How do I access the Social Worker?
Simply ask our administrative staff or speak with your Nurse Practitioner if you are interested in scheduling an appointment.
